Beg HaShem for mercy with the right Kavanah (the right thought and contemplation)

There are ten Zechirot (remembrances) that the Torah commands every Jew to remember every day. They are:

1. The Exodus from Egypt (that the Jews were chosen as     G-d's distinguished nation).

2. The Shabbat (G-d created and formed the universe in six days and rested on the seventh).

3. The Manna (G-d fed our ancestors with manna in the desert for almost forty years).

4. The incident concerning Amalek (they were the first nation to wage war with Israel after the Exodus, and we are obligated to destroy them).

5. The acceptance of the Torah at Mt. Sinai (through Moshe our mentor).

6. That our ancestors provoked G-d's anger in the desert, especially with the golden calf.

7. What Balak and Bilam planned against our ancestors, (and G-d nullified their evil plans) so that we may know G-d's righteousness and mercy towards us.

8. The incident concerning Miriam the Prophetess (who spoke slander about Mosher, her brother, and was punished with leprosy to show us the severity of evil speech).

9. The commandment that one is required to remember the verse, "You shall remember G-d, your L-rd, that He is the One Who gives you the strength (and ideas) to attain wealth."

10. The remembrance of Jerusalem; may it be rebuilt and ornamented speedily in our days, Amen.

NOTE: Some of the English translation of the Eser Zechirot (Ten Remembrances) have been adapted from the siddur "Tefillat Moshe Chaim, Siddur Sefaradi HaShalem."

This siddur has a linear translation beneath each line of hebrew making it easy to daven and find meanings of words. To order the siddur,
